Weather.gov
For more efficient monitoring of the weather, check out Weather.gov. If you're used to The Weather Channel as your source, you'll find Weather.gov refreshing and ad-free. It loads quickly and has a plethora of more detailed maps, radars, satellite views than you'll find at other weather sites. It's direct from our friends at the National Weather Service. Come on, you know you're a bit of a weather nerd somtimes. Satisfy those urges...

Robotic Lawnmower
The Automower by Electrolux promises to save time and effort by mowing your lawn automatically. As with the Roomba and similar house bots, I have to wonder if it really saves you time in the long run. Learn it, troubleshoot it, charge it, check after it, re-clean/re-mow any areas missed, etc. Although I'd take one and check it out if someone had a spare to loan me...

Busy Busy
I've just been temporarily busy and haven't really fired up this blog yet. I run several other websites and have had some technical difficulties with them.
I'm a big user of Post-it notes to run parts of my day, and I've been going through a lot of them lately. Post-its are great and very satisfying, by the way. Wad them up, shoot and score when you're done with them...

Flight Tracker on Google
Here's a quick tip: Use Google to track your flights. This is the first of many posts coming on the clever things you can do with Google. As many of you visiting right now were likely searching for "flight tracking" that I linked to on the old 2it.com site, I thought this was particularly relevant.
To track a flight using Google, simply type in a search with the airline name or abbreviation, along with the flight number. Google will give you 3 choices of direct links to track your flight. In this example, I searched on "aa 1635" to track American Airlines flight #1635. It's that simple.

So What's This Site About?
Well, I'm busy so it's taking some time to get the "new" 2it.com all in gear. Please excuse the mess. What I have in mind is a blog/site loosely centered around making life more efficient and easy. So this would include subjects like organizing, time management, cool products, helpful websites, and cleaning tips. It'll be fun, so hopefully you can stop by every now and then.
For those who have used the old 2it.com start page over the years, thanks again. I appreciate the support. If you're searching for a replacement, I'll list a couple of suggested sites. And, by the way, these could also help make life easier, so they fit right in here:
