Wow, the little 2it is a geek-in-training! Or are you instilling the importance at a young age about "not throwing your weight around"? :)

I saw some interesting baby vehicles in Germany...one drag-racing style stroller with three wheels, and a child's rickshaw pulled by an adult bike. In Israel, there are strollers that accommodate six tots at once.

Search engines have been a hot topic with me since I first went online 11 years ago. It never ceases to amaze me how obscure gimmick sites like iwon.com will turn up info that others won't produce. For my searches, I haven't found ask.com to be a particular boon, but for important research projects I'll try mamma (a meta-search engine), iwon, and northern light. The moral of the story is there will probably never be a single search engine for every need. My reason for Googling? It's the most visually streamlined. Heck, if I really thought about it, it might even boil down to the font type...

[...] I posted some time ago about the benefits of using Weather.gov. I still think there are advantages to using that site, but there are a couple of downsides I’ve observed. First, the site is down sometimes. In the age where we have gotten used to almost no downtime for popular sites, to see a site have some regular outages is alarming. Second, the local radar for my area is unavailable sometimes.
[...] I’ve been using Ask.com for a couple more weeks after my original post. I’m still fairly impressed with the speed and accuracy of most search results. I’m still finding that Google isn’t the only definitive search engine I need. In fact, I’ve been disappointed with some searches on Google - particularly those searching for a phrase with common words in it. It’s this type of search that Ask.com can help with, providing that additional set of results when you need it. Check it out sometime. [...]
