It never ceases to amaze me how obscure gimmick sites like iwon.com will turn up info that others won't produce. For my searches, I haven't found ask.com to be a particular boon, but for important research projects I'll try mamma (a meta-search engine), iwon, and northern light. The moral of the story is there will probably never be a single search engine for every need. My reason for Googling? It's the most visually streamlined.
